Top 3 em Paty do Alferes/RJ

Acabei de lavar as bikes aqui na minha casa no Rio de Janeiro.. só deu tempo para escrever no blog hoje... O final de semana foi muito bacana.. estivemos na quinta etapa do Estadual do Rio de DH na cidade de Paty do Alferes/RJ na trilha apelidada de "Patynete"... vc deve estar se perguntando pq esse nome? Bom, é simples.. a pista de Paty é a mais rápida do estado.. é toda em pasto aberto.. para se ter idéia em alguns trechos é possível alcançar 60km/h com a bike! É como andar no MotoGP... deitando a bike nas curvas literalmente! Essa foto ai é da corrida! Fiz uma descida excelente.. fiquei muito feliz de estar na pódio mais uma vez! Cheguei ao meu melhor momento do ano.. tanto fisicamente como tecnicamente.. espero continuar assim nas próximas provas.. Agora no mês de setembro sempre tem poucos eventos.. o próximo marcado, até agora, é a final do Campeonato Friburguense dia 03 de outubro... Até lá é treinar forte! Agradeço a meus pais que estiveram comigo e meu irmão Ronny em Paty! Eles são "pé quente"! rsrs..

I've just washed our bikes here in my house in Rio de Janeiro .. only gave time to blog today ... The weekend was very nice ..
were in the fifth round of the Rio State DH Champ in the city of Paty do Alferes/RJ at the track nicknamed "Patynete" ... you gotta be asking why that name? Well, it's simple .. Paty track is the most fast trail in the hole state .. is all open pasture .. to have some idea it's possible to reached 60km/h with the bike! It's like riding in MotoGP... throwing the bike in curves literally! This picture is in my race run! I did a great race .. I was very happy to be on the podium one more time! I'm in my best moment of the year so far.. both physically and technically .. hope to remain so in the forthcoming races .. Now, in the month of September it's always has a few events .. the next scheduled thus far is the Friburguense Cup on 03 October ... Until there is ride strong baby! I thank my parents who were with me and my brother Ronny in Paty! They bring us lucky!

Campeonato de Nova Friburgo - 2ªetapa

No último final de semana participei da segunda etapa do Campeonato de Nova Friburgo.. no sábado saí do Rio bem cedo e ja levei o casaco porque já sabia que estaria muito frio! Chegando la comecei os treinos.. fiz um total de 8 descidas junto com meu amigo Diego Knob. No final do dia fomos para casa do meu amigo Baeta para jantar. No domigo o frio estava muito forte.. estava confiante na largada e fiz uma descida muito boa.. no meu relógio o tempo foi 01:36 min o que seria um bom tempo.. além disso quando olhei esse tempo no relógio que estava preso na minha bike eu já havia passado a linha de chegada.. então ainda teria ai um desconto de 2seg. Mas, para minha surpresa na premiação fiquei em terceiro com o tempo final de 01:42 min..na hora fiquei bem chateado e não entendi.. mas não adiantou discutir com o pessoal da cronometragem que bateu o pé... bom, ai ficou por isso mesmo e também preferi não brigar e aceitar.. mas 01:42 não foi o meu tempo... Bom mesmo assim estou na liderança do campeonato! que venha a próxima!

Last weekend I participated in the second round of Nova Friburgo Champ.. on saturday I left from Rio really early and took my coat cause the weather was really cold. I started my warm up and I made a total of 8 runs with my friend Diego Knob. In the end of the day we went to Baeta's home for dinner. On sunday it was really cold.. I was confident before my final run and i made a good run! I made 01:36 min in my clock what would be a great time.. besides when I looked at my watch I had already passed thru the finish line.. so I could have more 2 seg off. But in the podium, for my surprise, I took the 3rd place with a final time of 01:42 min.. I was sad and I didn't understand.. but no talking with the timing guys. Well, I accepted the result and I had choose not to fight.. but 01:42 was not my real time.. But even if I still in the lead! next to come!

Acabei de chegar no Rio.. no sábado a noite não consegui postar nada no blog porque estava muito cansado dos treinos e toda minha família chegou em Paraíba do Sul para assistir a disputa do Domingo. Na classificatória do sábado fiquei em 13º com uma descida com vários erros, mas isso foi para todos os atletas.. estava muito difícil fazer uma descida redonda sem erros, pois a pista estava um pó.. e MUITO lisa! No domingo de manhã estava muito concentrado e fiz uma descida para ficar com a 12º colocação sendo 1 seg mais rápido que no sábado. Meu irmão Ronny foi o melhor do Rio de Janeiro sendo 1 seg mais rápido que eu e ficou com a 10º colocação... Os 15 melhores tempos serão transmitidos na integra no Canal de TV WooHoo na próxima semana! confiram as fotos do evento!

I just arrived in Rio. Saturday night I couldn`t post anything in my blog because I was so tired from training and my whole family came in Paraiba do Sul to watch the race on Sunday. On saturday qualifying I was the 13th with a run with several errors, but this was for all riders .. it was really difficult to make a fast run without error because the track was a powder .. and VERY smooth! Sunday morning I was very focused and I made a better run to get the 12th place being 1 second faster than Saturday. My brother Ronny was the best of Rio de Janeiro and 1 sec faster than me and he got to 10th placement ... The 15 best times will be broadcast on the Channel WooHoo TV next week! Cobertura Brasileiro: sexta-feira

Essa foto ai quem tirou foi o tio Gilles... rsrsrs! Ele faz as competições ficarem sempre mais engraçadas... Bom hoje acordamos as 8hs para começar os treinos.. o dia foi bem proveitoso! Fiz muitas descidas boas e seguras.. mas agressivas.. no final do dia senti uma muscular.. pois já é o terceiro dia que estamos pegando pesado nos treinos! Estou muito contente com minha descida.. amanha será o Qualify.. e teremos uma prévia dos possíveis resultados para domingo... A festa está muito legal, são quase 400 atletas de todo o país.. só na minha categoria, a Elite, são mais de 40 atletas.. a noite fomos jantar no famoso restaurante do vagão! Bom é isso.. amanhã vou acelerar forte para garantir uma boa colocação para o Rio de Janeiro..

to start the training .. the day was very good! I made many runs fast and safe .. also aggressive .. at the end of the day I felt some muscle pain.. since it is already the third day that we get heavy in training! I very happy with my runs .. Tomorrow will be the Qualifying .. and we will have a preview of possible outcomes for Sunday ... The party is very cool, almost 400 riders from all of the country .. only in PRO category has more than 40 athletes .. at night we went to dinner at the famous Vagão restaurant! Well that's it .. tomorrow I will accelerate to ensure good placement to Rio de Janeiro ..

Cobertura Brasileiro: Quinta-Feira

Hoje foi um dia super agitado aqui em Paraíba do Sul/RJ. Acordamos 9hs da manha e partimos para a pista... a maioria dos atletas de todo o Brasil já tinham chegado.. O evento está bem cheio e o dia foi bem intenso nos treinamentos. O Ronny hoje não quis treinar e ficou dirigindo o carro pra mim... fiz umas 5-6 descidas e aproveitei para melhorar minha linha na trilha. O terreno está bem esfarelado e dificil de andar. Outra coisa engraçada foi o mito criado em foruns na internet da modalidade sobre a pista ser fácil e não ter condições de sediar um Campeonato Brasileiro.. Bom não foi isso que vimos hoje.. todos os atletas com quem conversei elogiaram muito a pista, tanto como a de Downhill como a de 4X, e a organização está muito boa! Amanha é dia de treinos oficiais durante a manhã e no final da tarde. Vamos marcar os tempos e tentar finalizar o dia com boas descidas. Today was a super busy day here in the Paraiba do Sul?RJ. We woke up at 9am in the morning and went to the track ... Riders from all over Brazil had already arrived .. The event is really full and the day was very intense with lots of training. Ronny didn't want to ride today and so he was driving the car for me... I did 5 or 6 runs trying to improve my line on the track. The track is very crumbly and difficult to go fast. Another funny thing was the myth created over the downhill forums on the Internet about the track being easy and not be able to host a Brazilian Championship .. Well that's not what we saw today .. all the riders that I talked today sad great things about the downhill track and as well the 4X.. the event organization is very good! Tomorrow is a day of official practice in the morning and late afternoon. We will try to mark good times and end the day with great runs.

Primeiro dia do Campeonato Brasileiro!!

Hoje acordei bem cedo no Rio, por volta das 7hs, peguei a estrada em direção a Teresópolis onde fica a fábrica da Red Hot Energy Drink.. fui la pegar uns energéticos para me manter ligadão durante o Brasileiro! rsrs... depois peguei uma estrada que liga Teresópolis a Itaipava, para o meu azar a rodovia estava em obras.. ai foi 1h parado.. Bom chegando em Paraíba do Sul por volta do meio dia fui almoçar com meu irmão Ronny.. Dei minha primeira descida na pista por volta das 16hs, ja que, o calor estava forte aqui.. tive alguns problemas com a roda traseira da bike que esta esvaziando muito por causa do sistema sem camara que instalei para diminuir o peso da bike e ganhar mais velocidade... bom amanha continua!
Today I woke up early in Rio, around 7 am, I hit the road in direction to Teresópolis where is the Red Hot Energy Drink factory.. I catch some energy drinks to keep me "ON" during the National! Wow ... then I took the from Teresópolis to Itaipava, to my misfortune the highway was under construction .. i was stopped for almost 1h .. Well I arrived in Paraiba do Sul around noon, I had lunch with my brother Ronny .. I took my first run on the track about 16h, since the weather was really hot here .. I had some problems with the rear wheel losing pressure because of the Tubelles system. I installed that so as to reduce the weight of the bike and gain more speed ... still tomorrow!
